1.     Choose Your Defense Package:

Review the defense packages on the RATES page, and choose the one that meets your budget and needs.  Actual prices in your specific case will be established during your free consultation and written in your attorney-client agreement.  However, the prices quoted are the standard fixed fees to begin defending you in each package, and you may hire us today by simply sending payment at the rates quoted below.

We will let you know if your case merits a lesser or more expensive package once we begin working on your case.  Please call first to discuss military and multiple case discounts. More details on each of the packages are available by scrolling down.  

2. Fax or scan/email all your documents to us including the information in the checklist below:

· Cover Letter - Include home and email addresses, phone numbers(s), and the Defense Package you have selected
· Statement of Facts - Briefly describe what happened, who was there and what was said.
· Original Citation - If the writing on the citation is light or unclear, please trace over the words with a pen before faxing or emailing
· Copy of your Driver’s License
      
3. Pay Your Legal Fees:

· Fees are based on the defense package you select (outlined above)
· Pay with your credit card by calling in with the type of card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), the credit card number and the expiration date.
· Pay by Check or Money Order made payable to ‘Tait & Associates’ and then mail with your original documents to our address below        
 
4. Mail or courier all the originals (keep copies for your records) and checks to us at this address:

 5. Return Your New Client Packet

Within seven days after we receive the above documents and legal fees, we will mail you a New Client Packet to complete and return as soon as possible, but no later than before your court date. 

We will begin defending you once we process your documents and confirm payment of legal fees, but we will not be obligated to defend you in court until we receive your completed New Client Packet.  Please be sure to get that back to us before your court date.
 
We will do everything we can to help you complete this process before your court date.  Feel free to call if you do not understand any part of these instructions.
