The $499 fee cited herein is an evaluation fee that does not include the obligation for Tait & Associates to defend you in court or otherwise engage a member law firm or associate trial attorney to defend you in a trial by written declaration (if you are eligible); The fee for Tait & Associates to manage your case and have an associate attorney defend you in Court in any single court appearance usually starts at $599. Actual legal fees in your specific case will vary depending on the complexity of the case and estimated time involved. These fees will be specified in your Attorney-Client agreement. Fees are often higher for in-person litigation and misdemeanor or felony representation. The Self-Defense Course(SM) is generally billed at $399 per hour with a minimum of one hour which includes 30 minutes of case review and 30 minutes of advice.
